What Guests Are Saying
Washington Irving South offers a beautiful and peaceful campground with great views of the lake, clean facilities, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, hiking trails, and proximity to Tulsa. However, some areas, particularly the restrooms and older sites, need maintenance and improvement, and there are concerns about sandburs affecting outdoor activities. Overall, guests express a desire to return despite some shortcomings.

Nestled in the trees, very relaxing. Great for birding. Clean. Water tasted like vinegar though.

The first site, number 9, that we had reserved was so sloped for our RV, that we had to call and change camps. We had planned to stay 6 days, but only 3 days were available at any other site. Don’t trust the maps, check it out in person

Always a good time here. I wish the lower loop didn't get taken out by flooding.

It’s a beautiful campsite! Staff friendly and helpful even though we camped at the end of the season. Lake and wooded trails are serene and relaxing. Wooden church in the woods is large and inviting. We look forward to coming back next summer 🥰🤗
