What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

Stayed a couple of nights in 06, A-Lo(. Nicely paved very level, but the pad is very narrow: be careful with your slide-out, and your awning is probably not useful. Good place to bring your popup because the table and fire ring is mostly behind your rv or trailer. It was easy to back a trailer into, though. Water is across the road and not shared by many, but bring lots of hoses. I didn't, an camped really dry. The bathrooms and showers are truly EXCELENT.

Beautiful location that is close to bathrooms, swim beach and they also have a frisbee golf course. The camp host was near the site. They are very friendly. Park was clean, as were the bathrooms. The small park is goo for littles.

People stole our fish we had in a cooler out front of our campsite. People were behind our camper fishing by our firepit which I thought was very rude and disrespectful to our space. The kids left all there trash on our campsite so we had to clean it up. Never experienced this before and this was our first time to camp at Oologah lake. We usually go to Table Rock, Copan or Skiatook.

A-loop is spectacular, camping on the bluff exceeded expectations. We tent camped and it was great! Make sure to bring bug spray & sunblock.
