About Brush Creek Public Use Area

Brush Creek is located downstream of Keystone Dam, just 10 minutes from Tulsa, Oklahoma. This park features campground provided activities such as horseshoes, cornholes, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a mile-long fitness trail, and quick access to nearby multi-purpose trails. This is a popular destination for fishermen as they have the ability to cross along the pedestrian bridge from the campground to the fishing berm below the dam. In additon to fishing, this area offers prime opportunities to observe multiple wildlife species.  Please note when camping here, while typically quiet, water releases from the dam are preceded by several warning signals from a horn. This is a brief safety measure for anyone in or near the water below the dam, and there is no danger to the campground.

We stayed here at Brush Creek for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Plenty of shade in our spot, number 2. Fishing wasnt all that great becuase the river level was inconsistent, no rhyme or reason, just sometimes the water level was way lower than other times I'm guessing due to the release of water at various intervals instead of a continous run at the spillway. But just the other side of the dam in the lake the fishing was fine.

This campground is a convenient location for a stopover. It is not maintained. The grass was high and not cared for.

It is a very nice campground. Site 17 is a large site but could use some shade on the west side when it's hot outside. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great, except the bathroom needs help. A fresh paint job would help a lot. We did not use it in his current condition.

Could be mowed more often.
They were mowing the day I left after a three week of not mowing.
Park hosts are amazing!
