There are a lot of good things to say about this park like a lot of treed sites, full hookups, beautiful view of an impressive dam, and low cost. But there is one overriding issue that needs to be addressed and that’s the bathroom/shower facilities—-completely inadequate and dirty.

The camp hosts were very friendly and checked on us everyday we were there. The grounds offer horseshoes and cornhole and the hosts brought us the shoes and bags for our use during our stay. The grounds also offer a paved 1 mile fitness trail, playground, basketball and volleyball and are some of the best kept grounds we have ever stayed at. The sites in the inner circle have sewer!

The campground host was very visible, friendly, and informative about the parks offerings.
The sites are big and spacious with utilities working as they should.
The checkout/checkin times should be adjusted to earlier in the day.

We enjoyed our site five. It was relatively easy to back into. It was full hook up. There are nice trees around and lots and lots of birds flying around the river. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. There is a playground and a walking trail. Has a nice relaxing feel to it. We will be back.
