About Brush Creek Public Use Area

Brush Creek is located downstream of Keystone Dam, just 10 minutes from Tulsa, Oklahoma. This park features campground provided activities such as horseshoes, cornholes, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a mile-long fitness trail, and quick access to nearby multi-purpose trails. This is a popular destination for fishermen as they have the ability to cross along the pedestrian bridge from the campground to the fishing berm below the dam. In additon to fishing, this area offers prime opportunities to observe multiple wildlife species.  Please note when camping here, while typically quiet, water releases from the dam are preceded by several warning signals from a horn. This is a brief safety measure for anyone in or near the water below the dam, and there is no danger to the campground.

Very well maintained campground. Host at site was very accommodating. Very nice site with an excellent view. We liked it very much, but you must get used to the horn that goes off when water is let out of the dam. Great place, great site.

Campsites very nice - level and spacious. Had a full hookup site #3. Good wifi and cell service. Nice paved walking trail from the campground - about a 2 mile loop. Good campground for exploring Tulsa. Only complaint is siren from dam waking me up at 6:30am one morning.

The park is beautiful, well kept, and convenient to larger towns. I wish that others would respect the rules and property. CAMPSITES are to be left CLEAN - NO TRASH in the fire ring! PICK-UP after your dog, THAT INCLUDES IF YOU TAKE THEM WITH YOU TO THE TOILETS! RULES APPLY TO EVERYONE, INCLUDING YOU! We were made aware of some campers that tr to CHEAT the system for 14-day limit within a 30-day period. YOU will be the ones who ruin this lovely facility and campground use for ALL OF US. If that happens, remember what they say about KARMA! Otherwise, thank you COE!

We had a very nice stay. We loved the walking trail and exercise stations. The park was very clean and well kept. Our only issues was the horn for the dam sounding off for several minutes after 10 pm. One night we were without electricity for three hours. Other than that it was a peaceful stay that we enjoyed.

The sites are well spaced but more so on one side. The full hookups are good, but the spigots on some are way behind the pads, others are closer. The site was pretty level, didn't take much, there is a study picnic table, a charcoal grill & a fire pit with a grill. I did not use the bathrooms so not sure of their condition. There is a nice paved walking path with exercise stations, a pavilion and nice view of the river and the dam. I would stay again.

Excellent campground. They need to rethink that 6 PM check-in time.

Enjoyed the spacing between the campsites and all the activities available. We made much use of the fitness trail, and the water being released from the dam was a great white noise for sleeping. We will definitely be back in the future!
