This was off-season, so the majority of spaces were empty. It turned out to be a great place to rest up and rejuvenate. The sunrises off the lake were great—in my mind a hidden gem during my stay!

Worst recreation.gov facility I have visited. Very run down, grass needed mowing. Camp host site looked as if they had been there for years. About the only thing positive I can say is the water was hot in the shower house

We hadn’t been to Haven lake since we were children. Was very surprised to find Sheppard point. We had a wonderful experience there, will definitely be going back!

Host was amazing to help me with the process of registering on my phone. Gorgeous camping and nice warm shower house.

Getting There
From Sapulpa, take SH33 and go 7 mi west of Kellyville. Exit on Turner
Turnpike. Follow signs 3.5 mi south from SH33.
From Bristow, take SH48 to 48/33 intersection. Go east on SH33 3.5 mi
to 305th W. Ave. Follow signs south from SH33.
Highway access
Sheppard Point is accessible via SH33, which connects to the Turner Turnpike. SH48 also provides access to SH33 from Bristow.
