What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

Sutton was excellent as always! It was a very rainy spring weekend (March 30ish) which was fine in our travel trailer but would have been miserable in a tent. The thick foliage provides good protection against the wind. Some sites have puddles with this level of rain - again, not a problem in a trailer, but I wouldn’t recommend it for tents.
A local tip I learned this trip: You can go to the Siuslaw Public Library for internet access and it has fun kid activities.

Nice and quiet campground. We stayed in the fall so it was cold, but very enjoyable. The restrooms were very taken care of and the camp host was very nice and helpful. We will stay again. Thanks again.

Aways appreciate Sutton campground! Peaceful place to tuck away for a few days. The campground is flat and makes for great bike riding. Loop B is in SERIOUS need if road repair, fair warning for those whose vehicles are low to the ground.

We rented out the loop C campground for a large community camping get-together of folks that involved a huge potluck, a dance party (which ended promptly at 10 to keep the neighbors happy!), multiple smaller meals, mushroom hunting, hiking, beach-going, and a whole lot of ridiculousness with a big group of some of our favorite people in the world. The camp hosts were kind, helpful, and accommodating, the parking was ample, and the availability of hiking trails nearby satisfied the needs of both our more active guests and our elderly arthritic dog who could only manage a shorter loop. The shelter and extensive availability of picnic tables at the group site were invaluable for feeding and seating a group as large as ours. And for those of our guests who wanted to be able to catch some chill time apart from the big group, the Loop A campground allowed for folks to self-isolate as needed while still being within easy walking distance from the group camp.
Due to a website error back in the Spring we had booked the Loop C Group camp past its usual closing date, but American Land & Leisure honored our reservation and allowed us to gather a large group of out of town guests for a truly memorable weekend. 10/10, would stay here again.

Gorgeous, magical place! The hiking trails to the beach and secret forest dunes are amazing. Bathrooms were immaculate.

The bathrooms were only cleaned one the whole week I was there. The camp host was only on site during the day. The group across from me had 5 or 6 cars line up on the road and were really loud really late and really early and the camp host never said anything

The campground was very quiet with only a few other campers the night we were here. We had a peaceful and comfortable night amid the forest setting.
