Beautiful and quiet campground. Jody and Heather are the friendliest campground hosts we’ve ever experienced in all of our decades of camping. They go out of their way to help everyone. They keep the whole campground spotless.

Wonderful and helpful camp hosts, (A big shoutout to Heather and Jody!), the sound of elk bugling in the distance, osprey and otter to watch at the lake, hiking on the nearby deserted roads and around the lake, fishing, and a quiet place to enjoy friends and the beauty of the area! What's not to like!?!

Great campsites and nice walk around the lake. Were able to hear elk bugle and see wild turkeys. Special thanks to camp hosts (Jody and Heather) who greeted us as we drove in and were always friendly and helpful. Look forward to camping here again.

A very serene mid-August camping experience. We were pleasantly greeted by the Campground Host couple and directed to our site. The pit toilets were very clean as was the campground in general. A pleasant and welcome surprise was the abundant free campfire wood available in the campground. Campers should be aware of the voracious mosquitos that become active in late afternoon. A good insect repellant is highly recommended. We also noted, happily, that wasps and yellowjackets were few and not a problem. The path around the lake is quite walkable and paved with nice views of the lake and surroundings. However, campers who use wheelchairs should prepare for some difficult passages where the pavement is deteriorating. A plus for us this year was observing the young Ospreys in the giant nest high in a tree beside the lake. They will soon be gone but were fun to watch their practice flights on the lake.

A great little campground with fantastic hosts! Well kept up, a nice little hike, and a ton of docks for fishing or launching kayaks. When we were there (July 2022) there was a family of Ospreys living in a tree right on the lake edge. One stole another fisherman's trout right off the line! As a bonus, there's almost no light pollution, so the stars were incredible! Perfect for families or as a romantic outdoor escape!

Absolutely gorgeous campsite. I love how secluded and spread out it is. Campsite was full yet we felt almost alone there. The new hosts are extremely attentive and welcoming. Tons of fish, too! Water spickest are minimal but there is plenty of time to walk a little further for some water. This is going to be a repeat trip for us for sure!
