What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

We loved our very first camping trip EVER at Lost Lake. It was magical. We loved our location at A9. We arrived around 3:00 and the woman who greeted us at the entry was super nice and helpful with our questions. We were able to pitch our tent and drive over to the lake for a picnic dinner. There is a perfect trail all around the lake, and even little trails right on sight that we enjoyed. The next day we rented kayaks and had an incredible morning on the lake. Nothing weird happened! All was great.

PARK IS VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. SITES ARE SECLUDED AND PRIVATE. LODGE IS VERY HANDY ESPECIALLY DURING THE SUMMERTIME WHEN THE CAFE IS OPEN WITH EXCELLENT COFFEE AND GOODIES. WELL WORTH THE TRIP.

The paved road hwy 18 was so poor and so potholed it caused damage to my trailer. Since I was in a non electric site and could not repair the damage we needed assistance to jump battery before leaving
When we left we drove hwy 18 Lolo pass road to hwy 26 at Zig Zag about 20 miles
What a disaster!
Narrow one lane road potholes then gravel and washboard and white knuckle
Overall too hard to access and exit
Don’t go

Excellent facilities including a general store. The RV site I used had very good privacy and separation from adjacent sites.

A beautiful forested park with incredible scenery, nice trails, good fishing and well kept facilities. Both RV and walk-in camping sites are large and positioned for privacy.

Was more or less raised in this campground many years ago. Nice to go back from time to time. Great time of year to camp/visit, i.e. weekdays the best along with less people resulting in quieter experience.

Lost Lake, on the north side of Mount Hood is truly a gem. Clear water and beautiful forests abound providing miles of hiking trails and pristine kayaking opportunities. The campground is very well managed and the sites are thoughtfully designed for preserving a wilderness feel.

Great camp site and camp host. Entire site and campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Only complaint is the bathrooms were horrible and could definitely use more frequent cleaning.
