What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

The trip to get here on the narrow and twisty roads is interesting but once you arrive the lake and campground (and staff) are wonderful and views of Mt. Hood are amazing. Make sure to bring your favorite floating device for hanging out in the lovely day use areas right on the lake where you can set up a second camp for the day complete with your own picnic tables Campsites have paved pads, are spacious and in a nicely wooded area. There's a great lake loop trail that lets you see it from every angle. Definitely worth a trip!

This is always a fantastic place to camp! The campsite was amazing, the staff were lovely, and it is such an ideal setting. Our only complaint was the state of the campsite when we arrived. We were pretty late, several hours after check in time, but the site was trashed. The fire pit was full of large hunks of styrofoam, empty bear cans, and random plastic trash that we had to dispose of ourselves. There was a pile of used diaper wipes wadded up under the picnic table. Worst of all, there was a large pile of human feces in the middle of one of the tent areas. Once everything was cleaned out it was great, but that was a pretty awful way to arrive. In addition, there were no signs to where the reserved parking spaces were for sites F1-3, and it took forever to figure out where to go (all signs say there is only day use in the direction that you actually go, so that was extra confusing). Two different staff members didn’t know where the parking was and misdirected us, so that was quite a challenge. But overall, a lovely trip and we will absolutely come again!

I’ve been going to Lost Lake for 40 years and recently started camping here. It’s our favorite place to camp since the spaces are roomy and the area well taken care of. We love exploring the path around the lake and bringing our paddle boards for the water.

The amount of people who were there for day use was unbelievably bad. If you didn’t get to a spot on the lane by 6AM you were out of luck. You have ruined what was a great experience. Put a max on the number of day users!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure b11 was a nice site room for two tents, the only thing I would say is there is no shade across the majority of the site so bring a shade canopy if going in peak summer. The driveway at b11 is bvery long we were able to easily fit three cars.

The campground was great and sites had a decent amount of space in between. We were there during a heatwave so the parking near the resort area was filled with people daily, but who could blame them? Be sure and check the restaurant days/hours if you plan on eating there. The boat rentals are pricey but were readily available and a great way to escape some of the crowds. Highly recommend if you don't mind being around more people in exchange for many conveniences.

We could hardly use the restrooms in the campground without literally almost vomiting because the smell was so awful. We realize it’s camping and better than nothing but yeesh I’d rather squat in the woods if it were acceptable. Really makes us rethink going back.
We were also in the “A” section of the campground, it’s the furthest away from the lake. We would definitely not go back to “A” again.
