What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

It rained but loved the campgrounds. We had a great time and the General store staff were very nice. One guy even let me use his cell phone to make a call because I didn’t have any reception to call my husband to tell him we made it.

Actually moved to D21, 18 is a weird layout and there was no shade. Staff was great about letting us move. The bathroom was gross, garbage on the floor, no toliet paper.

It was the most relaxing and enjoyable camping trip of the season.

The campsites are great- plenty of space between sites and good tables, fire pits, and grills. The vault toilet in Loop D was good, but all of the toilets near the lake and around the gift shop were horrible - dark and gross (poop on the toilets seats). The grounds were otherwise great! Loved renting the tow boat and exploring the lake!

We've been going to the Lost Lake campground for years and have always loved our time there, but the lake itself has gotten extremely busy over the years with people coming in for the day. As in people fighting for space next to the lake at 7:30 in the morning. They have staff blocking roads so that we weren't able to drive around the lake to pick up our kids with the paddle boat. We ended up dragging the boat down to the lower parking lot, which was super unfun. I miss the sweet, rustic lodge and quiet days by the water from years past.

Excellent campground with easy access to the lake (7 min walk/2 min drive) and boathouse. Vault toilets. Lots of skeeters so be prepared. Will try the B/C loops next time for a change.

The campsites were incredible. The hike around the lake is a definite must do. We would most certainly stay at least two days next time so that we could take advantage of the water activities.
