What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

The campsites are fantastic - lots of room between sites and most are pretty private. The toilets are well taken care of and aren't stinky which is a huge bonus! Bring drinking water from home as the provided water doesn't taste that good. We appreciate the wagons for the campsites which are hike in. We will definitely be back again next year!

Staff was pleasant. The food is horrible, the nicer yurts should be available to people with small dogs. There are plenty of humans that are dirtier than dogs.

This is our favorite campground but I do wish there were more sites that didn't have to be reserved (that's how it all was when we started going there years ago). We were able to get three great campsites with plenty of room for each family's tent and other supplies! There is so much space and natural vegetation between the campsites, it almost seems like you're the only one there! The store and boathouse have both enlarged in the past few years which is wonderful - they look very natural in a woodsy setting! The hike to the top of Lost Lake Butte was fun as always - great view! We didn't have time to hike around the lake but that is a beautiful, easy hike to do! Lots of SUP, canoes, kayaks and row boats to rent for use on the lake or bring your own. We had a great time and came home with so many huckleberries we had picked on the bushes all around the campground!

Gorgeous lake and campsites. Sites are spaced apart and in a wooded setting. Beautiful hiking trail around the lake.

We went Sun - Tues and had a fantastic, less crowded experience than we expected. Mid-August and not a single mosquito (my biggest fear). Amazing 3 mile flat trail around the lake - perfect for littles with stamina. It was really a great trip and we didn't even get to fully enjoy everything there is on offer. Highly recommend!

Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back. Loved our site!! Our site was HUGE, had 3 separate tent pads, and was set high off the road in a pull-through driveway. It was a great site for our little kids (ages 2 & 4) because they had lots of room to explore, and we weren't super concerned with them running into the road (even though there was very little car traffic).
Like others have said, it's a hefty walk to the lake from the campsite, especially with little kids and all the gear. We were there on a weekend so the day use filled up quickly and they closed car access to the lake. We were fortunate to find a spot along the lake to play, but it wasn't super clean (literally we found human feces right next to where my kids were playing!!!).
The bathrooms were ok - tolerable, but no toilet paper in the one in the B loop campground. Everyone was respectful and quiet at night; no issues with partying or loud talking during quiet hours. The campsites had good space between them, although sound still carries, but no big deal.
My kids loved the lake, boat rentals, cafe, and all the many places to play in the lake. The evening times, after all the day use folks left, was the best.
We'll be back, but next time we might try staying closer to the lake in a cabin or F loop.

Love Lost Lake!! Been coming here every year for as long as I can remember. D2 and D3 are great sites. Very private and spacious. My kids prefer F loop first come sites because they are right on the Lake, but you can't go wrong with most of the sites in D loop.

Lost Lake is a beautiful location with lots of activities. Kayaks, boats for rent. Hiking trails for different levels of ability. Great general store. Wish there were mor showers located within the campgrounds. The campgrounds are located at quite a long walk from the lake, store and other amenities.
