What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, private sites, excellent lake access, and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking. However, there are consistent complaints about the outdated and poorly maintained restroom facilities, as well as noise issues during peak times, which detracts from the overall experience.

It’s a beautiful place to spend time. So many fun things to do. I would say the bathrooms were in terrible shape with broken sinks, filthy, and ratty grey paint splotches. The staff need to be better educated to communicate the parking permit types and where you are allowed to park with each one. We had several issues with our various friends and family

Beautiful place, great music at the lodge. The campground now has a shower you can use for quarters!

We LOVE Lake of the Woods...but this time the we had over 20 people, 5 tents and an RV in a non group site next to us that played beer pong & partied yelling profanities at each other until after midnight for an entire week, that was fun trying to get our little kids to sleep...

All in all, this is my favorite place to camp. Its a beautiful place right on the lake. I was shocked and extremely disappointed with the condition of the bathroom near our campsite. It needs painting and some upgrading. Only one sink worked. The other sink was broken and had yellow tape wrapped around it and no plumbing.

The new camp host in space one is very rude! I miss last years camp host in the 1st spot and the two ladies that were in the middle area. They were willing to answer any questions you had and were always smiling and happy. This new dude is rude and does not treat senior citizens very well at all. He is crazy on his side by side and thinks he can drive as fast as he wants on it through the campground and rules don’t apply to him.

The policy about changing sites and then still charging a cancelation fee is wrong.
