What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, private sites, excellent lake access, and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking. However, there are consistent complaints about the outdated and poorly maintained restroom facilities, as well as noise issues during peak times, which detracts from the overall experience.

Bathrooms outdated and dirty.
Camp host came to our site both nights at 10:01 and told us to keep it down and turn music off, we had three people and the music was very low.

Stayed 6/23 to 6/26 2025. Sites 44 & 46, Weather: sunny with calm winds, temp about 79 degrees. Lots of trees to help keep it cool. Sites would be on the small side for any Big rigs, but perfect for my camper. Bathrooms well maintained and close. Beach was clear water and kids were swimming. only issue really was the mosquitos. Luckly, they don't like campfires. Oh the local critters with make a mess of any trash or food left outside.

Another great spot. Camp host super helpful and friendly. Lakeside and nice trail to cruise along. Excellent camp after exploring lava beds.

There were downed trees covering part of our group camp site decreasing the available tent area by quite a bit. The camp hosts came by to let us know about some bear activity, did not replace the toilet paper at all over the three days we were there with 45 people. We ran out and when we went to find them they were off duty. It sort of seemed like they weren't really ready for the season or weren't fully staffed. Normally we really like this site, but this year was rough.

This used to be the most amazing tent camping in Southern Oregon, large campsites, next to the water, tall trees, the sound of wind and maybe an occasional child playing. Now dry rv campers, for whatever reason are deciding to take it over. So, prepare to wake up to the beautiful sound of a generator switching on at 8 am. And then watch your children frolic in the gasoline fumes. How wonderful. It's depressing to watch all the gorgeous spots that native Oregonians have grown up camping at, be turned into trailer parks. If you need your tv and a/c so very badly there is a very nice RV park with full hookups near the marina.

Enjoyed our stay there very much. Campground was clean and quiet, and restrooms were very clean. Would stay there again.

The hosts were very helpful. the grounds were kept clean , the swimming was good, the trails maintained and the camping neighbors were far enough away so we felt like we had privacy. we wer glad that w could have campfires, even with fires raging in other places in the state.

Nice site but a little slopped. Close to the resort restaurant and marina. Bathrooms needed a good cleaning!
