What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Point at Lake of the Woods offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious, private sites, excellent lake access, and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking. However, there are consistent complaints about the outdated and poorly maintained restroom facilities, as well as noise issues during peak times, which detracts from the overall experience.

We love this campground and our site was perfect for our needs. The camp host was friendly, and there was no undue noise from neighboring campsites. My only recommendation would be for the bathrooms to be updated.

Wonderful area to camp with restaurant, lodge and marina with live band on Sat. Poor ability to get pizza or take out on busy Saturday evening, youngsters could not wait for food and not able to bring our own food. Otherwise a wonderful experience

We always enjoy Aspen Point camp spots - large and pretty private on the outer loop. If you plan to have dinner or lunch at the lodge be sure to make reservations - very busy and only one chef (long wait for food) but kudos to the chef, she did very well considering the number of people. The marina pizza was busy as well. Lots of people so, plan on waiting. The weather was beautiful as was the lake. The trend now is people find a place around the lake shore, then leave all their stuff, chairs, kayaks, boats and shelters in place over night or for the duration of their stay. That doesn't seem quite right to me. As it really limits the area available for new arrivals to sit by the lake (beach area). Not sure how the management can address that?

I've been coming to Aspen campground, since I was a small child. Me and my family camp here every July. We have a group of 12 and we usually rent 2 campsites. It's always a great time and such friendly helpful staff and the restrooms are always clean. Best place to camp

Mosquitos were bad when we were up there, but I just always expect that in Oregon as a whole. Campsite was night and plenty big. Bathrooms were decent for camp bathrooms. Overall a nice weekend escape.

Beautiful campground on a beautiful lake. We stayed two nights. One downside is that the restrooms are not kept clean. I used the restroom as soon as the cleaner left. Trash can wasn’t even emptied. And the restrooms have a bad odor even though they are plumbed/flush.

Really friendly camp hosts that always had the bathrooms super clean. Mosquitoe control in the campground was much appreciated. Walking distance to resort amenities.
