What a great campground. We’ll appointed sites with beautiful white boulders, we’ll kept picnic tables and fire rings and vault toilets near by all. The trails around the lake are so perfect and just the perfect mellow place to relax away from it all. I grew up in eastern Oregon and spent many summers and winters going up to Anthony to snowboard, hike, and kayak but had NEVER even driven into the campground. What a nice surprise! I’ll be booking a whole week next summer. And the Star Bottles pizza and beer were a big hit for a nice Sunday dinner with some family who drove up from Baker. If you want a quiet, clean, and entirely beautiful please to take a breath, Anthony Lakes is the place for you!

Beautiful campground! The lake is stunning both at sunset and in the morning. Because of the lake, the night and early morning was quite cold. Sites are spacious with enough privacy. Site 20 was great for a 4-person tent.

Hunter was a great camp host, the camps were always clean and everyone we met was helpful and interested in us having a great time. A beautiful place in the mountains to get away to. We will go back for sure, next time with a bike.

Spectacular location and views. Really enjoyed the trees and rocks around our campsite. Unfortunately the mosquitos were horrendous and we could only stay 1 of our 2 nights. Sorry to have missed out on spending time at the lake and the hiking. Camp host Hunter was gracious and accomodating.

The campground is immaculate. The scenery is breathtaking. The Camp host Hunter was wonderful. He helped us out when someone was in our spot and refused to leave. It could have been an unpleasant experience but it turned out fine because of him. Will definitely return.

The yurt was well appointed with a two burner stove, utensils, games and such left by previous guests, a small table and chairs and plenty of sleeping space. Due to the cold and rain no one showed to their spots so we had the entire place to ourselves. Very relaxing and wonderful. The place was very well kept and the gentleman who maintains the area was really good guy.
