We stayed at yurt #40 would have given it all stars but the beds are horrible. Soooo hard like sleeping on a rock! Otherwise the yurt was great!

.The views were great and it was very peaceful! However, the Camp Host was not available (Nor was there posted hours), it was not made apparent if the parking was included when reserving online, the yurt was unlocked (with no key available) when we arrived, and the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable

This was a gorgeous, well maintained camp site. Despite being understaffed (we couldn't find the camp host the whole time) - it was still clean and well kept grounds. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and stocked. The camp site was tucked back in tree for privacy and the tent pad had a nice soft sand/fine gravel to put your tent on. We hadn't realized how cold it would get during this time of year at this elevation, so we were pretty cold at night in our tent and woke up to ice crystals everywhere, but it was a great experience nonetheless. We were one of maybe 3 other groups of people camping at this campground when we went, and we were spread out enough that we barely saw / and didn't even hear anyone else the whole time we were there. At night, we heard packs of coyotes howling at the full moon, and owls hooting. The view of the stars and Milky Way was breathtaking. We felt so immersed in nature and didn't have any noises or distractions from other people. They also had yurts available. Definitely recommend going during off-season!

This campground is beautiful. Sites are nicely sized. Facilities are well-tended by the staff. The Elkhorn Crest Trail which leaves from near the campground is a must-see for any hiker. Note that trailers over 22' will NOT fit around the campground loop, let alone in the campsites themselves.

It was a beautiful location and we had a dusting of snow which was nice. Cold in the yurt, though! Overall the camp host was supportive, the hikes were nice, the yurt had great amenities including gas stove and wood burning stove for heat. At this late time of year, we were nearly alone at the campground as well, which was what we needed. Did I say it was cold, thought?

Camp Hosts keep everything nice and clean. Only thing I think they need is a Larger sign stating the length of RV (trailer) that can make it through the campground. I saw a trailer that was over 30ft. and it had a very hard time making the corners in the campground.
