Driftwood campground offers great access to the dunes and features friendly and helpful camp hosts, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. While the campground is popular and well-loved by many for its atmosphere and recreational opportunities, some reviews highlight concerns about maintenance, particularly regarding bathroom facilities and limited shower hours. Oregon Coast is beautiful, however campsite was Crowded and Bathroom-Showers were overrun by Non-Campers immigrant transients daily.. dirty floors and counters:(

I’ve been camping at the Florence dunes since I was born 48 years ago. Driftwood is now the only one w/ atv dunes access. It’s hard to get reservations, YOU HAVE THE ROOM & NEED TO EXPAND THE CAMPGROUND!

There was a large group that was loud and obnoxious until after midnight the whole weekend. There were no showers, which I understand was a governor's order but none the less annoying.

We wander in to this one. It’s set up for ATVs. I still enjoyed walking on the Ocean and watch people enjoying their passion. It’s loud by nature but people were courteous.

The campsites are small. We have been here several times and are prepared. For our 32’ motor home and 20’ trailer we needed 2 sites. This campground is perfect for the dunes as long as you are prepared and reserve enough sites for all of the toys and equipment.

As always, excellent experience at Driftwood II. Very friendly / helpful hosts. Only downside this trip (June 2021) was the shower facilities were still not open for use.

It's was a great place other than I never received an email saying the showers would be closed and we reserved two spots in November. It just would have been nice to know. But overall it is a great place to camp.

Due to covid, the showers were closed. Best part was all the sand to play in and the sunset on the beach was worth hanging out there for.

Camp ground is great, showers were closed. Biggest problem was the park rangers making a big deal that we reserved a spot just to park our rigs and trailer on
