What Guests Are Saying
Driftwood campground offers great access to the dunes and features friendly and helpful camp hosts, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. While the campground is popular and well-loved by many for its atmosphere and recreational opportunities, some reviews highlight concerns about maintenance, particularly regarding bathroom facilities and limited shower hours. The location was very good for access to the Dunes. Nowhere else is better.
One issue is that there is very little, if any, cell phone signal so if anyone camping there needs to be contacted in case of an emergency, you probably will not be able to be contacted.

We were pleasantly surprised at the courtesy of the other campers in this OHV campground. With the exception one night of a quiet generator running all night, quiet hours were observed. The other camper families were a mix of young to mid teens and all were respectful. A wonderful mid-winter break.

The camp is wonderful in the winter! Clear skies and you can see the stars at night!!!
Great weather that weekend and very few in the camp.
We clean the beach for SOLVE and had a great ride!
The camp hosts could be a little more attentive. Sites could be tidier!!
Thanks!

Great spot to enjoy the sand from. I was the only occupant because of the time year, but it was the perfect experience. From great weather and a clean well maintained lot to the short trail ride to the dunes or shore.

I read that this was a day use area but I was not aware how MUCH of a day use area it was! It felt like I was in a giant parking lot rather than any campsite feeling at all. Much more conducive for an RV rather than a tent... I actually went ahead and booked the Lagoon campsite just east of here and had an awesome time there!

Very clean bathroom and very close entry to the sand.
Camp site was kinda small for tent camping tho I recommend 2 sites for a family

The showers are closed and you have to pack out your own garbage, but do they lower the price no! Seems kind of expensive for what you get.

It’s a day use area. No room to park. Had to get a second spot to park our pickup.
