Driftwood campground offers great access to the dunes and features friendly and helpful camp hosts, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. I love it here and the camp host are amazing, beautiful, clean & normally quiet. The last visit had intruders in the camp ground called the police they showed up 2 days after. Its sad the camp host don’t have the local law enforcement back up.

The showers were difficult to figure out. I could not tell when they were open or how to get coins for them. The machine was out of order and it said contact host, but I never saw the host. But granted I did not try that hard to figure them out.

Overall it was a good experience. Great place to ride in and ride out. Beware of thieves at night. Lock up your atvs and put seats coolers and fuel jugs. The host was awesome. He was staying up late on the look out!

Thieves stole from several sites and the sites were very small and hard to maneuver in with trailers

Spots were a little small to support two vehicles. Showers were clean and FREE!!

First time staying at Driftwood. Normally boondock but wanted to stay on pavement. Fit our 33’ 5 Wheeler just fine. Nice nature park and hike. Easy access to nice wide open, and technical dune riding. Only thing I would change is the height of the fire pits in the ground. Everything else was great.

This campground is very basic. No hook--ups at all. Sites are small on bare pavement. For what they charge and what you get it is not a very deal.

The Shower Times are hard to understand, the coin machine was broken. The sign said see host, but didn't know when the host was there or not. Long story short, the showers need improvement. I think a clear sign explaining how to use the showers would be helpful, especially when the coin machine is not working.
