Beautiful campground with nice campsites. Several of the campsites have direct access to the Lagoon Trail, which is great for bird watching. The camp host was very kind. Unfortunately, you can hear the dune buggies roar all day. Fortunately, they are required to stop at 10:00 p.m., so at least it was quiet at night. Restrooms could use some TLC, including a good cleaning.

Campground is very nice but it's very close to the OHV area. We heard them all day and as late as midnight. It was tolerable but undesirable from our viewpoint. We wouldn't stay there again.

Description on site 18 is deceptive. It is NOT in fact tent friendly. It is made to be a pull through for a trailer with a very small plot of grass with a picnic table and fire pit. There is no shade whatsoever. We had to set up our tent on the tarmac and it was all just way too hot.
There are no grey water disposal spots in this campground which is problematic.
Facilities were clean and well maintained.

I have no issues with the campground location, hosts, cleanliness, etc. The only complaint I have (and the reason for 3 stars instead of 5) is that the site did not have adequate space for a tent. My wife and I used to have an ultralight setup for backpacking before expanding the family. You'd struggle to fit a 2 person tent on flat ground here in site 038. We now have a 10' x 10' mansion to comfortably accommodate the whole family. We had to set it up on the asphalt. The picnic bench was also rotted and barely usable. We really loved our weekend with the proximity to the beach +little trails and will be back again many times...just not to this particular site.

We were there for 4 nights & 5 days. Saw the "host" once as we were leaving. The sites, 8 & 12, were dirty and unmowed. As we visited with other family members, they noted the same things with their campsites. We walked around and noted most of sites needed cleaning and mowing.
We are back there in August, we hope things are improved. Most sites were empty most of the time we were there
