We have stayed in South Shore three times but this is our first time in the 013 spot. We loved it! The view of the lake and the arrangement of the camp space made it the perfect spot for us. The position of the restrooms, garbage, wastewater and freshwater was perfect relative to the spot. We will be back.
The only negative had nothing to do with the campsite. The heat and smoke during our stay put a little damper on our fun.

Wonderful camping, private on lake side. Aside from the constant yellow jacket attacks I would have given it 5 stars. As soon as our food came out the bees were full throttle. We did NOT have this issue in 2022. Someone needs to find the bee hives….

Diana and Rockie were the very best camp hosts we have ever experienced at Suttle Lake, South Shore. The level of customer service was outstanding. Each time someone vacated their spot they made sure the space was spotless. Never were bathrooms untidy or stinky. We’ve camped up there for the past 10 years or so, and this year was the best by far, and Diana and Rockie were the reason! Super friendly and always welcoming.

Suttle Lake is one of our favorite camping spots and the campsites we have stayed at here have all been very good. The only negative is the condition of the roads in the campgrounds. They are broken and full of potholes, some very deep.
