Suttle Lake is a beautiful place to camp. To pass the time, a chair overlooking the lake with a good book is the ideal way to spend a day as you watch the wind surfers. There is a path around the lake that takes you past the Suttle Lake Lodge. A casual restaurant, with a dock overlooking the water is a great place to stop and have a snack.
We enjoyed our stay there.

We reserved site 9, which is described as an 80-foot pull-through. Sounded great for our 23-foot camp trailer. However, when we arrived we were dismayed to find that the site was possibly the least level site we've ever seen, and that there were two trees leaning left and right into the site, which would have made it pretty much impossible to maneuver our trailer in. And had we been able to get into the site, I'm guessing that the left and right trailer wheels would have been at least a foot out of level. Since I had left the backhoe at home, the site wasn't gonna work.
Luckily for us, the campground wasn't full, so we found a site which wasn't reserved, and moved there. The new site wasn't lakeside, but at least we could get in, and minimal leveling was required. Cleared our move with the very friendly camp host, who confirmed that our new site wasn't reserved.
I would humbly suggest that the site description at least admit that it's not at all level, and that there could be overhead limitations because of the inward leaning trees.

The camp host this year (2023) is doing a great job! Thanks to all your hard work, raking the sites, and generally being available and always having a friendly Hello!
