South Shore Campground offers spacious sites with great lake access, making it a favorite for many families and campers. The site itself is beautiful, no question! BUT the driveway is NOT for RV's as it stands today. (We had a Lance 1475; 20' including the tongue; not large) The site is NOT level. The slope is off camber by at least a foot. So be prepared to excavate and be creative. Also, you will have to navigate between 2 large trees, one of which is leaning towards the driveway so larger RV's will most likely not fit and the driveway is very curved so a 40' RV would have to bend in the middle to fit. The site description needs to be amended to reflect the reality of the site.

We stayed in space #11 which was VERY spacious and open with a great view of the lake. Campground has great areas near the shore for people to sit by the lake and for kids and dogs to play in the water. Has a very nice trail all around the lake for long walks. Has very good cell / internet service for Verizon.

Suttle Lake is one of our favorite, easy places to camp. The campgrounds are very large, with lots of space and the hosts do a great job of keeping things clean. Like, the bathrooms are spotless!! We love the lake and the ability to walk to the lodge if we want to have a drink or meal. It's only an hour from home but feels like the epitome of a summer vacation when we're there!

Very pleasant campground— a little more spread out than Link Creek but all three along Suttle lake could use some tree removal, road maintenance and trash pick up. Camp hosts virtually invisible for the 5 days we were there.

First time at Suttle Lake. Got a last minute booking in Site 19 for Labor Day. We were excited to get a lakefront spot. Very disappointed in this site — no shade at all and zero privacy from neighbors on either side. Pictures are no longer accurate. Lakeshore trail runs through site. Please add more shrubs for privacy and replant some of the trees that have been cut down. Also, consider moving the picnic table and fire pit so it’s in the middle of the site, not closest to one neighbor. We left after 1 night due to high winds. There were white caps on the lake so we couldn’t paddle board. Traffic and nearby generator noise was a bummer. We won’t be back. Much prefer quiet mountain lakes with more privacy.
