We have been coming to Shenango Lake Campground for many, many years, multiple times a summer.
We tent camped this past week. The skunks ruined our time. We were trying to sit by our campfire & there were 3 of them at our campsite. We were terrified. This happened for 2 nights in a row!
We were also woke up at 7:30 in the morning to numerous lawnmowers cutting the campsite’s grass. I feel that 7:30 is an unacceptable time to do that & that was very rude to the occupants of the campground. We were all woke up because of this.
We will not be back here because of these 2 reasons.

Our campsite was quite muddy as it had rained quite a lot prior to our stay and the mosquitoes were terrible. Out lot could have used additional gravel and the camp hosts said they planned to make some improvements to the lot as there were deep ruts from other campers using the yard to back into their lot across the road. We like the campground a lot and love having lake access but we may choose other sites in the future due to the extreme mud at both trips this summer.
