My experience was good, I have not had the access to all locations for a total evaluation. I will return again next year.

The location and setting were very nice. We camped after Labor Day so a lot of the park was closed.
My only complaint was the bathrooms need more shelving or a bench to put things on. Meaning, if I went to the restroom before the shower, I had no place to put my stuff while using the restroom.
Some paper towels would also have been nice, but I understand why you don't have them - just more waste and mess.
The Showers could definetly use some updating.
I was in campsite 70 to let you know what bath I used, in case other locations might be better.

Just got a new travel trailer and wanted to try it out locally. Beautiful grounds, clean, quiet and a beautiful lake.

Area was nice overall, however, the shoreline at the campsite was covered in large rocks and made it dangerous to fish as we had hoped. The satellite image showed different and found out that was just done this past spring. No bait available at this campground which sucked.
We hope to revisit again now knowing of better sites to reserve.

We rented site #276 in the New Duck Loop. Grass was mowed, site was clean, yard hydrant nearby worked (great water flow), and we had a white pickup truck with door panel markings drive by slowly on the first day in the mid-afternoon, which led me to believe they check the campground after check-in time. Bathrooms were reasonably well cleaned and toilet paper present, however the door hinge was broken, and the stall sides were rusted through at the bottom and loose. Our site was the last, right next to woods, and there was a lot of poison ivy so beware, but the woods offered shade and some cover to our tents in rain, which was nice. The water levels were very low (I think about 3-4 ft lower than usual!) so there was a lot of "beach", which the kids enjoyed, but messed up boating. At $28/night, I think it could be cheaper, but since it was just one night I think it was okay. Check in/out was easy and quick.

Our campsite was wet and muddy (needed more gravel). The host was a miserable guy who thought he was someone special. The worst part was that the ladies across the road from us had two little yipper dogs who barked at the wind blowing and had their WHOLE yard area fenced in so the dogs could get almost to the road to bark at everything and everyone. I love dogs but there's a limit to listening to them when you're camping.

Quiet, beautiful place to recharge! Everyone friendly yet stays to self. Our family loves to include this on our summer itinerary - hiking, kayaking, tent camping, cooking over firepit.

Take Exit 4B (formerly Exit 1) off I-80 and follow Route 18 north about 6 miles until you cross the lake's causeway. The park is on the left, but this is a divided highway. Continue north about 1/4 mile, take the Birchwood Drive exit, make the turn-around and go south on Route 18. Before you cross the causeway again, make a right onto West Lake Road and travel approximately 1/4 mile to the park entrance on the left.
