The camp site was very well maintained and quiet. The bathrooms smelled horribly, I understand they are vault toilets but perhaps you could keep a bucket of lime in there to help with the smell.

It was amazing! The only helpful hint would be after putting in at James creek launch the campsite is about a 3 mile paddle. Butvother wise it was exa tly as described! VERY nice with the picnic table and fire ring...will be back next year!

Like the other great families and friends that were camping when we were there twice this summer 2020; Nancey's is paradise! The Rangers are great! The sites are clean and the view is incredible... we were there twice this summer and were hoping to be back next summer...My suggestion would be post the 8 PM to 6 AM quiet rules on the campers who do not abide by the rules. We did not complain the 1st night in either week we were there, we thought they would settle down after...but they repeated the 2nd night and ignore the complaints.
For all the caring campers who together can stand together and protect our values and abide by the rules set in place so together we all can enjoy the fresh air, the stars, the beauty and listen to the wildlife and the fish jumping all night...a tradition we can protect and pass generation thru generation in the great outdoors Raystown Lake Provides.

The only complaint I have is there was a medical emergency with a husky being bit by a copperhead and the people couldn’t get ahold of anyone to unlock the gate so they could get the dog to the hospital. I posted on Raystown Shenanigans that there was a boat needed ASAP to get the dog help and I believe that’s how the people got the dog out of there. Made me wonder what would’ve happened if I or my camping friend had a heart attack while there (two 50+ year old women) that were kayak camping.
