What Guests Are Saying
Tompkins Campground offers spacious, clean sites with friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake for paddling, and well-maintained bathrooms contribute to a positive experience. While some areas could benefit from upgrades, many campers appreciate the reasonable prices and the campground's recent extension into the fall season.

It was an ok experience until the rangers came by and kicked out the whole section I was camped in because they said the section would be under water. We then had to find another place to camp for our remaining time.

Overall, the experience was good however with the flooding that we had received that day, we were unable to stay at Ives run so we booked a spot at Tompkins Campground when I spoke to a ranger they said that they were going to automatically refund our reservation at I’ve run but I have yet to hear from anybody or see a refund posted to the account so overall everything was great, except for they did not follow through with the refund of the Ives run booking.

Nice campground, some sites nice and large some smaller, nice paved lake view sites! Grass was a little unkept, but overall nice experience, nice and quiet, definitely would go again….
