What Guests Are Saying
Tompkins Campground offers spacious, clean sites with friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake for paddling, and well-maintained bathrooms contribute to a positive experience. While some areas could benefit from upgrades, many campers appreciate the reasonable prices and the campground's recent extension into the fall season.

1st off I love this park and I love dogs! We ended up in a site in Knoll this trip. People across from us had 4 dogs and I'm guessing 2 other family groups camping below us. All total the site had 8 dogs there, several barking constantly. As well as around 8 very young children playing in the road. Between the kids, the dogs and the music getting turned up it wasn't very relaxing.
I figured the park ranger must have known because he stopped and spoke with them at least 3 times per day.

Always love spending time at Tompkins Campground. I do wish that if there are a lot of sites open that we'd be allowed to stay longer. It seems like such a waste to have 20+ sites open not being able to pay to stay longer.
