We love this campground. The sites are nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have wood and ice on board so don't have to go out for that. It is close to our daughter and family. Had a lot of fun out on pontoon boat and jet ski.

Great location, quite, very well maintained, wood and ice available right there, great opportunities for activities provided by the volunteers and friends of Cowanesque lake. Staff are also top notch. There's a reason everyone loves Army Corps campgrounds.

Our site was very good - level, private and shady! The only drawback was lack of service on our (Tracfone) cellphones, but that may not apply to everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we do plan to go back!

GREAT PLACE TO CAMP, FULL HOOK-UPS AND WE HAD A SPACIOUS SITE (#26). THE ONLY THING WAS THE SEWER HOOK-UP WAS NEAR THE FRONT OF THE SITE. NEEDED A LONG HOSE TO CONNECT. WE WILL BE BACK.

Large mostly shady and level sites. Sewer hook ups can be far from water and electric—may need extra hose. No Verizon at #8, had to go to marina/boat ramp. Trails are mowed grass and buggy and muddy. Lots of snapping turtles nesting in early June—be careful as they are on the roads getting to nesting locations. Good road biking on Bliss Road. A few OTA tv stations.
