This was our second trip to Hawe Creek. We love this place. Clean, tidy and well looked after. The campground host were great and they really worked hard to clean up the campground. I wish we could camp here year round. One of our favorite parks in SC.

We LOVE this park! The sites are very spacious and right on the water. Some have better direct access to the water than others however, they all have spectacular views! We stayed in site #5 and the sunset is just stunning. The bathrooms are clean, the main road is paved and a joy to ride bikes on. The boat access ramp is very nice and easy to get to. Bring your paddle boards and kayaks, you'll really enjoy them there.

Well kept campground, beautiful lake, clean restrooms and shower. Highly recommend. Great for kayaking and boating. I wish I could come in the fall, they say they are open year round but you cannot make reservations past September. I'd like to see them stay open through the year.

We stay in this campground several weeks of the year. Campground is quiet and the water is nice. Beautiful view from the points.

Our favorite camp ground on Lake Strong Thurmond! We visit several times a year! The lake isn’t very busy with boats so we can kayak all day long! Fishing is great, too!
