Need to keep the park open year round, need more than 1 toilet in the men’s bath house. Walt and Patrick do an outstanding job keeping it clean but with the park maxed it is difficult to keep the toilets unstopped.

We love Hawe Creek CAMPGROUND Its one of our favorite campgrounds. We camp there at least twice a month and when they close we have to go to the other campgrounds that are open year round. So with that being said If Hawe Creek was open all year round we would be there. On a plus note the campground hosts are very nice And don't mind helping you if you need it..

This was our first time being up there in April. It was a tad chilly, but warmed up during the day. The campground was kept in perfect condition, and our site attendant cleaned the bath house in pristine order. I don't think I have ever seen them so clean. Thanks Walter!
We have been coming to Hawe Creek for almost 15 years now. This is the first time I have seen water snakes (the non lethal kind), a black scorpion (holy smokers!), and a black widow spider. I know, not for the faint of heart, but it was pretty cool. I also rescued one of the biggest spiders I have ever seen, by removing him from my kayak onto a sturdy tree. I don't know which one of us was more startled!
It would be wonderful if Hawe Creek could stay open through the fall. With the increase in people visiting this campground, it is almost impossible to get into. Please do consider extending your dates.

This was our second trip to Hawe Creek. We love this place. Clean, tidy and well looked after. The campground host were great and they really worked hard to clean up the campground. I wish we could camp here year round. One of our favorite parks in SC.
