Magnificent time. Sites were super-well kept and very natural. Excellent water access and bathrooms were pristine. Thanks, Walt, for the lovely conversation and history - we will be back many times to come! It truly makes such a difference when the host cares so much about the land!

Great campground right on the lake! Walter is the campground attendant and does an amazing job preparing the sites for each visitor. He was especially helpful when we needed to switch sites to beat incoming weather. Spotty cel service, which may be a good thing depending on if you're trying to escape the world a bit!

We camped at Hawe Creek for 4 nights, 4/21-4/25. The sites are big and spaced out enough to give a lot of privacy. Every site has a beautiful water view. For those with boats there is a very nice, large boat ramp.
