Nice, quiet location that provided a perfect spot our my grandsons’ first camp out. Remote enough to feel like the “woods”, yet with a few conveniences.

I have used this facility for years and find it a nice rustic campsite located near some prime hunting territory and some pretty decent bike trails. It only has 4-5 water spigots, only two outhouse type, toilets, and no electricity, making camping more of a chore than I like, but a necessary evil to enjoy the other aspect of this forest. I have never found more than 3-4 other campsites in use and have never seen another mountain biker. I have run into a few horse riders on my trips and a substantial number of deer, Turkey, dove hunter, and a few fishermen.

Great place for a secluded getaway. Boat ramp was in great shape. Enjoyed boating and relaxing by the campfire. Only draw back was not having the most level spot to put up tent on the site.

Stayed on a week night, only one other family in the campground. It was so very peaceful and serene. I walked my dog down to the park beside the Broad river, had the entire place to myself. This is a hidden gem for campers that prefer solitude over power and water water hookups. Truly one of the most peaceful camping stays I've ever had. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite camp grounds around. Sitting on the side of the beautiful broad river in the deep woods. I have been camping and riding horses here since I was a small child and plan to continue the tradition with my children. If you are looking for a camp ground that is quite and deep in the wilderness this is for you.

The campground is clean and spacious. Two corrals at each equestrian site. Trails are gorgeous; strenuous but not rocky.

We arrived day of stay & booked site. The site was clean & comfortable. Fire ring a little worse for wear, but useable. We really like Woods Ferry - this was our second time staying - tried a different site this time.
