What a hidden gem. Great campground with great views and lots of distance between sites. You want sites 35, 36 or 37 (37 being the best view of the lake. No water or sewer hookups or dump stations. For those of you with a Coach or larger RV, make sure you approach the campground through Hill City and not Deadwood or you'll have a 17 mile drive down a very dusty, yet navigable, dirt road which will cover everything you own in dust.

I could not recommend this place enough! It was very quiet, bathrooms were very clean and we had a beautiful site that connected in the woods and meadows filled with beautiful wildflowers. We were even fortunate to witness a small family of deer everyday in the close distance and listen to coyotes cackle in the morning.

Excellent campground. I would recommend it and would stay again.
The site had big flat spots with plenty of room to setup both out tents. Bathrooms perfectly clean and fresh water easily accessible.
The river at the end of the road was a perfect spot for a refreshing swim.

The host was fantastic, extremely helpful & knowledgeable of the area. The campground was beautifully maintained with amazing scenery, wildlife, and a neighboring lake within walking distance. 10 out of 10, highly recommended to everyone.

Not enough bathrooms and should have mens and womens bathrooms instead of unisex.

Great campground. Very quiet. No electric hookups so there can be a lot of noise from campers who are using generators. The road to the campground is awful. Huge holes and washouts for the last 4 years. I hope they fix this for the upcoming camping season. The lake is beautiful and a very serene atmosphere. We love staying here.
