What Guests Are Saying
Lock A campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The spacious campsites, beautiful views of the Cumberland River, and opportunities for biking and relaxing are significant highlights. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, are noted as outdated and in need of upgrades, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

We loved the campsite! Beautiful view of the river and plenty of paved area for parking. I really enjoyed the grassy area between the driveway and river.

Well, first of all the weather was beautiful. Great views all around, especially watching the barges up and down the Cumberland. The campground was pristine. And the beach is nearby. Multiple playgrounds for the grandkids. Water and electric service. Worked great for our camper. Highly recommend Cheatham Dam. And our camp post. Cheryl was very helpful.

Lady’s bathroom was constantly filthy. Three toilets had various needs: unflushed, doors not closing, etc. Floors were dirty.

we tent camped here, and it was such a wonderful place: right by the water, quiet, not cramped like a lot of campgrounds are. the bath house and shower were clean, and supplies well stocked. One of the best campground stays I have been at, especially for the low price!

Been camping there for 30 yrs, I cannot remember ever seeing an upgrade to the Bath House. The area is satisfactory except the showers. The walls are dirty and bug all over them, dirt in the corners. The seats are filthy with dirt and who knows what else is on them. The grounds are nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I do recommend it to people but warn them of the showers. Thanks for removing the shower curtains from last year which was soiled and very poor condition. Thanks.
