Cheatham lock and dam is our favorite place to stay. We have a dog to walk and there is a lot for us to explore. Watching the boat traffic is entertaining. Facilities are well maintained and operated.

I think they need to put in a pickle ball court where the tennis court once was,

Getting into the site when there are campers across from site a little tricky backing in but we made it. When we arrived that afternoon, the trash can was completely full. Guess it was because previous camper left after garbage pickup. No problem

Overall the campground was nice. Only one restroom for all sites and it was old and in need of some work. The campground gets packed on the weekends so if you are looking for a quiet time avoid this place. Bikes and golf carts go non stop. If you have kids they will make many friends. Nice playground. Lots of fishing and boating.
Both T Mobile and AT&T worked perfectly.
The campers did not respect the boundaries of our site but that was not the campgrounds fault. New generation of campers seem to make their own rules.
Camp host was very nice.

The view was great and the campground was very clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the showers were missing curtains and since the door to the women’s bathroom wouldn’t close all the way, it was really cold inside. Other than that, we had a great camping trip and plan to visit next summer!
