What Guests Are Saying
Lock A campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The spacious campsites, beautiful views of the Cumberland River, and opportunities for biking and relaxing are significant highlights. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, are noted as outdated and in need of upgrades, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

We enjoyed the spacious campsite, Site 03, which easily accommodated my RV, Dodge 3500, and Ford Explorer. Shade and quiet made for a great visit. Driving into and out of the park on Cheatham Dam Road worked my truck especially hard because of the steep grade and my RV is 16000lbs. Also, be mindful of three, ninety degree turns on that two lane road if you are pulling a big RV (40'+).

Beautiful setting. Spacious sites. Very clean and up to date. River right at your feet. Moonlit night over it was gorgeous. Can’t wait to return.

Although we were there for only a couple of nights during the week, it was a very good experience.

Had a great time with family and friends. Campers all got together to make the Christmas in July festivities for the kids, arts and crafts and the bike parade and them some time with Santa. Just a great place to go for peaceful relaxation. We enjoyed fishing on the River and swimming. The employees took great care of the restroom facilities and keeping the area clean. We will be returning next week for a little longer stay. Can't wait.
