Quiet and peaceful. Turkeys behind the tent.

The bathrooms were the cleanest campground bathrooms I had ever used! Sites were nice. However, there was a lot of leaf litter under our picnic table and the picnic tables were cemented. So we couldn’t just move the picnic table around.
Loved the nature walk at the campsite.

Enjoyed my three night tent camping with a level and dry tent pad. Weather was perfect for late April.
Good camp ground away from the crowds and traffic. Only a 30 minute drive to the main entrance to the park. Several nice hiking paths reachable from the campground.
No cell phone service at the campsite, however, it is available at the main road before the entrance

We loved it here. We were looking for wildflowers and found a couple of dozen different species. Henwallow Falls was a wonderful lunch spot (suggest taking a slo-mo video of the falls) until a large group showed up around 2:30 pm probably part of the SMWFP. The restrooms were clean as was the campground. We didn't see litter anywhere.

The second week of April is a great time to be at Cosby and in the park. There are very few people. The campground was very quiet.
No one was ever at the entrance cabin. No one ever checked to be sure people were registered. We love Coby but it could use some road repair and paint on buildings. Logs are rotting on stair bases to bathrooms. Staffing and maintenance seemed limited.

Very quiet campground away from the crowds in other parts of the Park. A lot of the sites were spacious and the restrooms were very clean.

Amazing trip. The campground was spacious and beautiful, and very quiet. Everything was well-kept, and the maps and resources were terrific. We had the greatest time hiking, hanging out by the creeks, and climbing Clingman's Dome. Just absolutely a fantastic experience.

We made a reservation for the site, but we couldn't stay because others kept setting up tents. The money was refunded, but we were disappointed.

Lovely campground -- on a wooded slope and each site was carefully made level. Bathrooms were clean tho no showers. This would be a perfect campground except it is far from many of the favorite areas to visit in Great Smoky Mountains Park.

The camp site was very nice. Unfortunately, the weather and our neighbors were much less nice. High winds and the college kids in the site next to ours seemed to think that yelling was the only appropriate way to communicate with someone less than 10 feet in front of them. We used our time to scout around and found a site that was a little more private. We’ll definitely be back.
