It was so peaceful, well until the motorcycles zoomed by, but that was temporary and infrequent. What a beautiful place.

About Look Rock Campground
Look Rock Campground is located along the beautiful Foothills Parkway West. The campground offers 68 campsites in a high country wooded landscape. It offers a traditional outdoor camping experience with the added convenience of flush toilets, drinking water, and a dump station. There are 10 sites with electric hookups. There are no shower facilities at the campground. Avoid GPS directions leading you along Montavale Rd, Happy Valley Rd, or Flats Rd if you are towing a trailer or vehicle.

We felt lucky to have found a site over the 4th of July. Look Rock is out of the way of most of the park, but it is beautiful and quiet, shady and well maintained. We felt it was such a great spot, that we extended our stay an extra day, luckily our site was open.

We loved our stay at this campground! The sites are great, there's plenty of privacy, and you're in the middle of the woods!
Clean facility for restrooms and the campground is very well maintained.
Only draw back (reason for 4 stars) is no shower house. This amenity would be a great addition!

Cute area, but it’s pretty packed together. The area is decently maintained, but the websites to failed to mention it was only open seasonally. I saw no reason it needed to close already

The restrooms are clean and close to #13 site. The fall colors were amazing, Only downside was the top of the hill was crowded and the couple at the site next to us were extremely noisey in the morning, watching tv in a tent and. I guess not aware of how loud they were. Close to home and quite nice get away.

The site was an excellent fit for me. The fall color was excellent and the campground hosts were so informative and friendly. I enjoyed being in a smaller campground free of excessive noise and activity excluding the noise from the nearby road.
