Beautiful site in a small valley that is out of the wind and weather. One of only six sites in the Smokie mountain NP.

There are some steep grades on the roads and it's a sharp turn to get into the waste water dump station. There are only 10 electric sites with water.
It's a nice walk too the Look Rock tower about 2 miles round trip.

Great campground.. only 2 years after reopening.
You’re at the top of the mountain.. and decent close trails. Yea no full hook up but perfect for an off grid week in the tent.

Great campground, the restroom was kept very clean and the volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. There was more road noise than I’d like but thankfully we didn’t hear much at night.

Our site was very nice because it had electricity and water hook up. It was very clean and was level. Restrooms were very nice and clean. Only con was noise from motorcycles on the foothills parkway.
