We had great difficulty trying to level our trailer. We ended up moving to a different spot and checking with the ranger in the morning to see if that was ok.
The Look Rock Tower is a must see.

The over arching issue with Look Rock is that when issues arise there are no campground hosts or rangers and no cell service. There should be a ranger stationed here every day. At 8PM at night on a Wednesday a couple pulled in next to me and blasted very loud music from their car for an hour. All upper campsites could hear it and there was no hosts on duty at all. The couple yelled back and forth at each other making us fear for our safety. When another camper requested they turn it down, they yelled obscenities at him. LE was called but said it would be an hour to get there. We all had to move our campsites at 9:00pm away from these campers in fear that they would return and retaliate. The next morning the hosts let this couple stay another night. That night this same couple came by my new campsite yelling out their car windows at me. Very scary.

This is a great place to camp. There are many sites without electric or water and maybe 10 with electric and water. Very peaceful. Great camphosts! It is off of the foothills parkway which has beautiful spots to view and it is close to cades cove.
There aren't any showers but the bathrooms were clean.

Site had two back-in parking spots with the tent pad at car level next to the parking (easy loading/unloading). Slight incline down to a fire pit and picnic table.
Camped at Look Rock while hiking some trails of the Great Smoky Mtn National Park. Easy and friendly check-in. Fairly peaceful. Close to other sites, but fairly quiet. Had a great experience!

Reserved a spot with 50 amp. It as the most unlevel pad we have ever seen. Had to use jacks and blocks to get even close to level and ended up with 3 wheels off the ground. Office frequently closed. Campground host only seen 1 time in 3 days when they told us many people had complained about that spot but nothing was ever done. Will never go back! Also DO NOT follow Google Maps to get to campground. It took us up a terrible 7% uphill narrow hairpin turn road to the campground. Instead use Foothills Parkway if you are driving a motor home or towing a trailer or 5th wheel.

Our experience at this campsite was anything but good. First we set up camp being hushed by our camp neighbors bc we came in late. Then the place was infested by cockroaches. During the nights we had someone coming in our campground shinning flashlights and pushing on our tent making us fear for our life.

My campsite was too close to my neighbors who had a group campsite for young boys. Good cell service here though. Wish they had showers but we had a small motorhome so not a problem.

The park is set up weird , you have to make a complete loop to get back to the dump station then drive around again to leave the park . A lot of the sites are very small and they are 90 degrees from the road , that makes it harder to back into with the narrow road . Nice park beautiful scenery just needs some upgrades

Our site was a little cramped, but it was the last one that had any hook-ups. We were grateful for that.

The campground itself is beautiful. Make sure you bring plenty of leveling blocks. The road coming in is a little bit crazy a lot of switchbacks at one point the fifth wheel touch the railing of the bed put a small dent.
