Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and appreciated the helpful staff, particularly in maintaining clean restrooms and sites. Some guests noted challenges with maneuvering larger RVs due to tree placement, but overall, the positive experiences outweigh the negatives, with many expressing a desire to return.

This was a fantastic location next to Lake Belton and it helped that the weather cooperated. Like other Army Corps of Engineers parks in this district, things are getting pretty worn out.We had dead limbs/trees overhanging our site. The grill was burned through and had a rusted grate, so was almost unusable. (If you're planning site #30, bring your own grill!)The water faucet leaked below ground.Warning, this is a reservation-only park. You need the gate code before you get here. There is a gatehouse, but no attendant on duty. Weird.

Been coming to this park since the mid 90’s. My Father was the gate attendant then. Nice peaceful park, great swimming, fishing with hiking trails nearby. Like the location too.

Terrible water access unless you use boat dock. Small sites on the back loop. Trees not trimmed so our roof was full of branches. Never again

Our site could have used some mowing and the bath houses need to be cleaned more than once a week.

Our camping trip was good. We were in site #10. Someone had caught their camper on the end of the table covering, and it has not been repaired. It was torn up pretty bad. Really needs looked at and replaced. There were also ants at the site. My husband had to go buy aunt killer to get rid of them. The middle section needed mowing. A man mowed parts of it, but never came back and mowed the rest. It was in need of a complete mowing.

Beautiful location nestled into a canopy of oaks. Boat ramp for campers only on site, very quiet and family friendly.

Trees over the road are to low and need trimmed real bad. A friend of mine ripped his awning off his trailer because they are so low. Roomy sites and very clean bathrooms

Beautiful park and peaceful. Enjoyed walking around the lake and the park. Camp hosts are friendly. You would never know Belton shopping is less than 10 min away. Dead Fish Grill (restaurant) is right across the dam and provides option for lunch/dinner if you don’t feel like making dinner. Also love Miller Springs park for the hiking.
