We loved Live Oak Ridge. Very clean and bathrooms and showers. Well maintained areas around the campsites. It was very quiet. No disturbances from road traffic or other campers. Easy access to Lake Belton. Definitely plan on going back next year.

It's lovely park and well maintained. The only bad comment would be the entrance. Folks trying to get in that don't have reservations block the entrance, making for a ridiculous long wait to get in. Once they get up to the office, they are trapped until someone finally gets there to help them. There is no way for them to turn around if other cars are behind them.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. We had no trouble, but saw others that were unable to access the unmanned front gate.

This was my first-time camping with a camper trailer. The park was very clean and quiet. I will be visiting this place again.

We stay at Live Oak 3+ times a year as we have family in the area. This COE park is great. Plenty of area between campsites. Level cement pads and clean table with covers, fire pit and grill at each site. Overhead tree limbs are kept cut back. The restrooms have showers and are clean and well maintained.
TIPS: sites 19 & 21 have steep grassy areas off the back that doesn’t make it easy to spread out. Site #1 offers no overhead shade from trees. Site 20 is a pull-thru but harder to level if you have a longer rig.
Plan ahead and reserve early. This is a popular park and weekends fill up quickly.
