What Guests Are Saying
Westcliff offers a beautiful, peaceful location with friendly and helpful staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The park features clean campsites, well-maintained facilities, and a stunning lakeside setting, perfect for swimming and relaxation. However, there are some concerns regarding noise from jet skis and the need for better maintenance of picnic shelter roofs and weeds, which could enhance the overall experience.

Close to the water, quiet, great sunrises, safe, good shower (except floor too flat for the drain).
Bring your boat and beach it at your camp spot. Perfect.

We had a very nice experience at Westcliff Park. Although the pull through campsites are quite close to each other all of our neighbors were quite friendly. It is a park that we'll go back to.

The majority of the spots are pull-through and right on the water. We prefer a shady site and had the perfect spot under a large tree. We still had an awesome view of the lake and enjoyed watching the sunrise while having our morning coffee.

Westcliff is situated in a great area. It is close to Belton, Salado, Killeen, and Temple. All four towns have lots to offer for excursions. The park itself is very nice. I was in a site that was not on the water. It was level, quiet, and had a huge private field in the back. There was no shade, but I really don't care about that. They do not have any trails, but you can hike the road from the camping loop to the Boat ramp. I saw lots of birds, native Texas plants, and insects when I did that. The gate is has a code on it, so you can come and go as you please. The people working the gate house were great. The couple that was serving as hosts while I was there were extremely friendly.

Love camping here!! It's so nice to park your boat right at your campsite and not have to put it in the water every day!! The gate attendants are wonderful and so very friendly!! Last year I could not have said this! Thank you for making our summer vacation and true VACATION!! The park is clean and you never have loud obnoxious people camping beside you. Everyone of our "neighbors" the two weeks we stayed at the park were really great!!
