The campsight was clean, and quiet. There were several bathrooms in walking distance. The showers at the store require quarters that you can get at the store. We had javalinas and cows walking around. Overall a great place, we hope to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Rio Grande Village Campground in Big Bend National Park! Our campsite was surrounded by short bushes, giving it a peaceful and secluded feel. There was plenty of space to pitch our four-person tent, and the provided food storage box was a great addition for keeping our food safe while we were away.
The campground was well-maintained, with clean bathrooms just a short walk from our site. The entire area felt quiet and respectful, making for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed walking our dogs at night, as the campground was tidy and had a calm atmosphere.
Overall, we had a great experience and would love to camp here again!

Very good location, it felt private. Restrooms and water was a short walk from the site. Make sure to store your food in a secure location. Overall a very pleasant stay and close to several trails.

Really the most beautiful campground in the Park (non-electric side, specifically). A good amount of trees and/or shade structures. Good space between & around all sites. Nice nature trail behind the camp and a great hill to look out at the sunset/sunrise from. Really enjoyed the no-generator side of the campground. The water supply was very drinkable (not always a given in many parks.) Would definitely recommend.

Big Bend is, well … Big. It’s far off the beaten path but the journey is well worth the trip.
The vistas are spectacular. The history is compelling. The campgrounds are clean and well maintained. The night sky is truly something to be held in majestic awe.

This was a wonderful park with nice trails off of the park to overlook the Rio Grande. Big Bend is an out of the way gem. This campground was perfect and no complaints. Beautiful scenery and the well-kept park

No cell service or wifi, but the views and peacefulness of the area made up for that. Camp hosts greeted me and provided treats for my pups. Very nice people and made me feel welcome. Last night had two wild horses grazing right next to my Sprinter van! That was awesome.

The campground itself was good and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The site itself was overgrown with sticker bushes and trees and dead tree branches that overhung the drive and made it difficult to get around the car when unloading gear. When the campground host came by we commented on the issue and was told they couldn’t trim unless okayed by some higher up in an office somewhere. Not only is this inconvenient for the camper but also a fire hazard with all the dead brush around.
