Very clean park. Sites were well spaced. The showers and restrooms were as clean as could be expected with a full park. The front gate gentleman was very kind and helpful. We couldn't have asked for better.

Great experience! This is the second year we come here . It did rain so the restrooms were a bit messy but they continued to clean them and finally Saturday when it didn’t rain the restrooms were back to normal.
The gentleman at the entrance was really sweet! We put up our 120” screen and ran a UFC fight which ended at midnight and no one came to stop us, are made us lower the volume even though it was pretty high. We appreciated it since we had about 20-25 other campers gather together to watch it .
We are hoping to go again before the end of the year! Thanksss

Love the view in our suite. First time there and a little disappointed that their really isn’t a swimming access available. Bathrooms didn’t get clean daily . We were there four days and by the last day the RR
Really needed to be clean . The camp sites are really nice. Will go back !

A little pricey for a campsite with water only, but the layout is nice. Map was a little deceiving and I didn't realize we would be basically Cliffside lakefront. We could still access the lakefront it just wasn't easy with little ones.
I also like that there is both a firepit and grill.

First and Foremost this campground is a Core of Engineers campground. With that being said, there are some things that come with that like lake a of staffing to help clean the place up due to budget cut backs. Now the ones that are keeping this place in fairly decent shape are all "Volunteers". So please do not give them a hard time as they do not have any control over anything. There is a 2200 gate lock down (which in my opinion is really really dumb) if they are going to have a gate they need to update this so as to have a key code to open the gate and not an attendant. I was actually staying here to go and visit and attend my sisters retirement from the AirForce (as we are all military). I had to leave the party early so as to get myself and my family back to the campground by the allotted gate lock down time. I was a little distraught by this to say the least. The next thing that I would like to add is that the shower houses were actually in need of some repair, however you can not inform anyone as there are no employees. I was told that there was only two maintenance personnel that were located clear on the other side of the lake. Which is about 30 min away. I was there for a total of eleven days and seen only one COE vehicle enter that area (did not even come through campground portion). In this time frame there should have been a personnel member to bring mower and mow, do some maintenance on the shower houses. Since there was only one functioning shower in the Females shower (as per my wife and children) at the RV sites. No swimming which was a huge disappointment to the kids for sure. We ended up having to go over to Comal Park about 20 min away from campground. It was subpar to say the least (that is a whole other review). With more and more people camping the COE needs to have more funding available to make these parks better. Employee some staff, gate key codes we are adults not children that need a curfew.
