Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Nice quiet park. Watch out for deer along the road in and out. They will run right in front of you. Good place to relax and watch the lake.

The lake was very low 10/22. Looking at housing is not ideal camping. Restrooms and grounds really clean!

We enjoy visiting Potters Creek in our Class A, 45' motorhome. The sites are well spaced, concrete, with elec and water. Most have a picnic table which is lovely. Most have a view of the water which is also wonderful. Dump station is easy to use. The staff is extremely picky about letting anyone enter before 3pm (on the dot)....even if the space is unoccupied and vacant. I inquired of the staff about a senior discount, and the staff person did not seem to know how the reservation system works. He could not tell me a) if a park/senior/discount card was accepted and b) how to obtain the discount. I inquired because I noticed in another reviewers notes that he paid only $15 using the Senior park pass. We have one, so hopefully we will not have to pay full price next visit.

Definitely won't get in until 3:00 pm . Campground was only half occupied although the Web page shows no vacancy. Need more weed mowing and shower house and bathrooms need tlc . Very nice lake with clean water.

The park's volunteer hosts were very accommodating and friendly. My site was level and very spacious with a great view of Canyon Lake, but no shade. There are several sites that have shade. The only sort of negatives were the sand spurs and waking up to no water on Saturday morning (check date) due to a water line break in the city water system, not sure how campground was out, I left around 11am. I will be planning another visit soon.
