Bathrooms in loop B needed list if attention.

A very clean and very quiet park. We really enjoyed camping right next to the lake.
The staff was very hepful in my reservations. We will stay there again soon!

Love the place, been going here probably 40 years or better. The dump station was down and no options given to use another parks dump station - but we were charged the same as if all amenities were avail.

Great site, stay one night passing thru, will stop again and stay a few days or more. 44' 5th wheel, room for rig and truck did not have to disconnect.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the dump station is not working.
Very convenient, inexpensive park with all the amenities and close to Ennis TX if you need to pick up supplies. The gate folks are super nice and the park ranger patrols regularly. Plenty of space to park 3 vehicles and my 33' trailer, and the spot was pretty level. Easy access to the lake and not a lot of traffic...definitely worth the money.

Highview is a lovely park! I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. We were traveling from the East Coast to visit family in Loveland and stopped at Highview en route. The campground design - all half oval pull-in sites - provided great views and lots of privacy. Thank you for an excellent stay at one of the nicest campsites we have encountered

From Ennis, Texas: From Interstate 45, exit onto U.S. Highway 287 Bypass (Exit #247). Travel 4.5 miles and exit at the Bardwell Lake exit sign. Turn left onto Highway 34 and go 2.5 miles southwest. After crossing the Bardwell Lake bridge, take the first left onto High View Park Road. Travel 0.2-mile to the High View Park entrance station.
High View is accessible via Interstate 45 and U.S. Highway 287 Bypass, with the U.S. Highway 287 Bypass exit located approximately 4.5 miles from the campground.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
