Nice and quiet. Cell reception was spotty, but good enough to hotspot my firestick.

The showers in the restrooms near site 22 looked so rusted and broken that we never went in them after our first day. Water was leaking down the wall. There wasn't anyplace to put clothes or towel or soap or shampoo. The campsite was nicely shaded in the afternoon so it didn't get so hot. We were in a pull-through and it was easy to get level. We liked site 22. The power was adequate. The hosts we're very friendly and kind. I just wish the bathrooms we're decent.

Our recent trip was very disappointing. But I will say something positive first, the park hosts were very friendly and helpful upon check-in and check out. The deer that came out in the evening were fun to watch. The sunrise and sunset over the water were beautiful...After that, it was hard to find positives.
The entry sign states that there is a 14 day limit on campsites. The site next to the very first restroom facility has clearly been there WELL over 14 days.
The campgrounds were terribly overgrown. The sites were about a week overgrown and anything past that didn't look like it had been mowed all summer. We brought a trimmer from home and cleared our site and a path to the water.
No cleared area for pets to walk. Tall grass was full of stickers and who knows what else...snakes? ticks?
It was sad to see this park in that state.

What a Hidden Gem! I loved my stay, I will be back with the family. The lake is close to the spots and the deer came out at night. What a fun time! Great Customer Service too.
