Sites are near the water which is awesome. I’m a tent guy. So, I thought the price was pretty high at 28.00 a night. I’m use to $10 or $15. I don’t mind paying a little more for a great location and great facilities. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were absolutely horrible. This could be an unbelievable campground if they put a little money in it. At $28.00 a night for a tent, it looks like a money grab, because it doesn’t look like any money is going back into the facilities. That said, I’ll be back, the lake is great and I like camping near the water. One more thing, bring your own fire wood. The camp ground doesn’t sell wood and the gas stations sell a bundle for $18.00....

I was only there for 45 minutes, dropped my camper and plugged in air, pulled skis to boat ramp and unloaded, as I walked on boat ramp, under the water it was covered in algae, took my 3rd step, slipped and was on my back, almost knocked me out, had to drive myself to ER, split my head open, had 9 staples put in to close. Should have sued y’all for not cleaning boat ramps off, this whole thing would have been avoided if had not shut off camping at Mustang Park at Zbenbrook Lake, very poor decision. That park generates more money from camping that all the others on the lake and it’s my favorite spot to camp for over 45 years, bad financial decision!

This is a great and quiet park to camp but note you must be in the gates by 10pm or you have to leave you vehicle there and walk back to your camp and it’s a good hike from the gate to the camp sights then you must be back at the gate at 6am to pick up your car so be mindful of the time
